The Entrepreneur Nation (TEN), a business group based in London, Ontario, will be holding networking events throughout the summer with the aim of allowing local businesspeople to mingle and make connections with each other.
The group looks to hold different events in a variety of settings and neighbourhood, making sure that there is something for everyone. Events include the Business Luncheon, After 5 Business Mingle, and Business Coffee & Networking.
Individual chapters of TEN represent different areas of London and hold their own monthly events, typically helmed and organized by local entrepreneurs in various fields. TEN counts professions like lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, dentists and electricians among its members. Networking can include exchanging Business Cards, creating connections that could lead to business deals in the future, and getting advice on tricky questions ranging from tax law to graphic design.
One of TEN’s biggest events, the After 5 Business Mingle, will take place next on Tuesday, June 25 at the Hilton Hotel. The event expects about 300 guests and will feature a talk by Randy Wilcox of Tridys Construction. Other upcoming events include the TEN Women’s Club on the afternoon of the same day, and a business luncheon hosted by the Wortley chapter on July 3. In addition to its home base of London, TEN has held events across Canada as well as in the US and Jamaica.
