The Oktober Fall Fest will be taking place in London this autumn, aiming to provide a distinctive spin on the German cultural tradition.
The festival will take place across three weekends and feature traditional Bavarian food such as sausage and schnitzel, activities, and of course beer. Musical acts include traditional sounds like duelling pianos and “The Polka King” Walter Ostanek, as well as more modern acts like The Holy Gamblers, The Blue Ridge Band, and the legendary Canadian tribute band The Practically Hip. Visitors can participate in a corn-eating contest and German line dancing, as well as other Oktoberfest-themed activities. The Beer Kitchen will be providing a special themed menu with plenty of Bavarian staples.
The event is hosted by the 100 Kellogg Lane venue near the London North area, which features local art, as well as live entertainment. A full lineup of artists and activities will be provided in the weeks leading up to the event. Organizers have said that they plan for this to be their largest Oktoberfest celebration yet. The annual event, originating in Bavaria, is celebrated in September and October around the world, often featuring costumes such as lederhosen and German-inspired banner printing and other decoration.
The 2024 Oktober Fall Fest will take place at 100 Kellogg Lane on the weekends of September 19-22, 26-29, and October 3-6.
