PondFest will be taking place in the London North area of Hyde Park this summer, showcasing the best of the local community.
The day-long event will highlight musical and cultural performers from the local community. The main stage will be headlined by Canadian country artist Nate Haller and London’s own funk group New Cats. There will also be cultural performances by the Eagle Flight Singers and Sutherland Studios Highland Dancers, in addition to a jujitsu demonstration from Bindner Academy.
Visitors will also be able to interact directly with street performers throughout the grounds. One of the major events will be the unveiling of a new outdoor community piano, which has been hand-painted by students from Oakridge Secondary School.
The night will conclude with a special Laser Light Show, which illuminates the night sky with colourful lasers. The festival grounds will also feature local vendors such as Willow & Ben Jewelry, Beemma’s Pet Care Accessories, and Sweet N’ Salty. There will also be fresh food and drink sellers like La Parradiga Grill and Green Window Salad. Vendors at events like this often offer special deals or Promotional Products to help win over new customers.
PondFest is sponsored by the Hyde Park BIA, with the goal of highlighting local businesses and culture.
