The Kineto Concert Series will be returning to the broader London area this winter, with a series of four concerts at the historic Kineto Theatre.
The series kicks of in January with a country-themed night, headlined by Ontario-based singer-songwriter Colt McLaughlin. Jesse Grandmont & Brian Barber will play an opening set. This will be followed in February with a “Perfect Valentine’s Experience” presented by old-school crooner Michael Vanhevel and “piano man” Mark Payne. Future shows will include a St. Patrick’s Day celebration hosted by Celtic musician Alex Baerg, and “A Night with Cabin Fever”, with the folk roots trio of the same name.
All concerts are hosted at the Kineto Theatre in Forest, one of the world’s oldest movie theatres which first opened in 1917. In addition to showing modern and repertory movies, the theatre also hosts regular cultural and community events like the concert series, with the goal of attracting visitors from nearby areas like London North and Lambton Shores. Concert series like this often turn to local institutions like Print shops and radio stations to help reach music lovers far and wide. All four concerts will be available as part of a joint package.
The 2025 Kineto Concert Series will take place at the Kineto Theatre, with the series starting with Country Night on January 11, and continuing monthly until April.
