The 2024 Great Outdoors Comedy Festival will be making a stop in London North, featuring three nights of stand-up comedy and more under the summer sky.
The festival is headlined by popular American comedian and actor Bill Burr, who will be performing a full set on the final night of the event. Saturday night will feature a triple bill of comedian and podcaster Tom Segura performing as part of his “Come Together” tour, MadTV alumnus Bobby Lee, and Jessica Kirson. The opening night will feature a trio of rising stand-up stars in Nate Bargatze, Gerry Dee, and Derrick Stroup. The outdoor festival area will feature food, drinks, and festival merchandise. Attendees can book reserved tables and have these items delivered to them during the show.
In addition to the performers on stage, there will be local “untamed acts” wandering the grounds of the park to entertain and interact with guests. These guests include Rockabilly Joe, Rupert Appleyard, and That Magic Guy. The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is a touring event that has stops throughout Canada throughout the summer, as well as one in the United States, with London being the only stop in Southern Ontario. Festivals such as this often use tools such as poster printing and social media to help attract local comedy fans.
The 2024 Great Outdoors Comedy Festival will come to London North’s Harris Park from July 19 to 21.
