A unique London fundraiser will be returning this winter as the Children’s Magical Winter Ball casts its spell this December.
The event is designed as a family-friendly version of a black-tie fundraiser. The evening will include traditional events like a silent auction and dinner, but also include kid-friendly crafts, entertainment and activities. This year’s Winter Ball will have the theme of the “Sugarplum Gala”, inspired by The Nutcracker and other classic holiday stories. The venue will be decorated with the goal of creating a fantastical setting. Past events have been held virtually, with a superhero theme, but 2022 will see the gala back in-person.
All money raised will go towards the Child Life Program at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, which works to support children with serious illnesses in areas such as London North, as well as further afield. The program specifically aims to help children with mental and emotional needs while they undergo medical procedures.
