Charity challenge returns to London North

The OneRun charitable campaign will be returning to London this spring, challenging residents to run 100 kilometres for a good cause.

OneRun takes place over the course of a month, allowing participants to divide up the distance however they want. The campaign also allows donors to travel the distance through multiple methods, including biking, swimming, rollerblading or skateboarding, in addition to walking or running. The goal is to boost fitness and set a challenge that encourages participants to raise money from friends or family. The virtual event also allows participants to choose where they will run, whether it be in London North or elsewhere, and represent their school or community as a team.

All money raised through OneRun goes to cancer support programs ChildCan and Wellspring. There will be a special event on the final day of the run where 10 local cancer survivors walk or run 10 kilometres in one day. The event has raised over $1.6 million dollars over its previous 12 editions.

Charity runs and walks such as this often encourage participation through Promotional Products and social media, with OneRun encouraging participants to share their journeys and offering “swag” including T-Shirts and sweatshirts based on donation level.

The 2022 edition of OneRun will take place virtually between May 14 and June 10 at the location of the participants’ choosing.
