Business Networking International (BNI) has recently launched a new chapter in London, and will be using online meetings to reach out to local business owners and entrepreneurs.
BNI will be hosting its standard format of weekly meetings, with each meeting featuring attendees from various industries. Members may have a chance to give a short presentation about their business, as well as making connections through networking, formal referrals, sharing Business Cards and Promotional Products.
While BNI meetings are typically held in locations like conference rooms and restaurants, the new London chapter will be holding its initial get-togethers through video chats, with plans to eventually move to physical space.
While this is a new chapter for the London area, BNI already has a considerable presence in Southern Ontario, claiming that its members generated almost $2 million in new business for each other in the last year. The first meeting covered topics like measuring networking ROI and the possibility of online business networking. The organization also recently held its first global livestream, called the BNI Growing Forward Together World Tour, and has been growing its online platform. The American-based organization now boasts of 270,000 members around the world.
The London BNI chapter held its first digital meeting on July 16, and is set to hold online sessions on a weekly basis throughout the summer.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
