Acclaimed bands to visit London North area

This September will see the duo of PUP and Snotty Nose Rez Kids making one of the few Canadian stops of their tour in London.

The two groups are both Canadian natives and have received critical acclaim as well as cult fandom in the past decade. PUP are a Toronto-based punk band and are touring in their support of their LP Morbid Stuff. Their hard-charging work has won acclaimed from periodicals like The New York Times and Pitchfork as well as nods from the Junos and Polaris Music Prize. Snotty Nose Rez Kids, performing as the support act, are a hip-hop duo who have become one of the most popular Indigenous music groups in Canada and have also been nominated for numerous awards.

The London stop is part of PUP’s fall tour and the only location in Eastern Canada. Snotty Nose Rez Kids will be performing in support of the band on three shows. The short tour will conclude with an appearance at Chicago’s Riot Fest. Music tours such as this often use tools such as poster printing and local radio advertising to reach a local audience such as London North music lovers. The show will aim to create intimate feel with only general admission tickets available.

PUP and Snotty Nose Rez Kids will perform at London Music Hall on the evening of September 11.
