A virtual lunch will be providing new members of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce a chance to learn more about their membership and discover the perks.
The Chamber, which is billed as the community’s largest business network, gives company owners and professionals a resource they can call upon. Its planned “Chamber 101” workshop will provide a way for its newest members to hit the ground running. For the safety of both the host and the attendees, it will be held online, and is set to run for around one and a half hours.
Participants are invited to join the workshop over lunch, and they will discover the many benefits of being involved in the Chamber and its activities. They will also find out what resources the city has to offer them. Career development opportunities will be included in the discussion, and advocacy and a variety of cost-saving programs are also on the agenda.
This sort of activity is often very helpful to those who are new to an organization like the Chamber. Giving each attendee a package that includes informational Brochures, Notebooks and promotional Pens is one way for a group like this to welcome its newest members.
The virtual Chamber 101 information session will be welcoming the newest additions to the Chamber on November 18th. A link to register for the function is available on its website.
