Motorcycle riders will soon be taking aim at prostate cancer, and is part of a national movement that brings riders together in support of the cause.
The Manitoba Motorcycle Ride For Dad will be working to raise both funds and awareness, and the proceeds will be used to fund projects in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. The run has been held annually since 2000, and has raised millions over the years.
The starting point for the Winnipeg ride will be Earl’s Kitchen and Bar, and registration opens at 8:00 am. The registration fee starts at $40.00 for advance bookings and is $50.00 on race day. To thank those who raise $100.00 or more, they will receive complimentary registration. The kick-off time is 10:00 am sharp, and there will be four celebrity ride captains in attendance.
To help bring this event to the public, the organizers have received the support of a wide assortment of business and community services organizations. The logos of supporters of events like this are often included in the materials prepared for a fundraiser by a printing services company.
