Winnipeg workshop to explore impact of radon

Many locations in Canada have naturally occurring radon, and those who participate in the “Understanding Radon in Your Facility” seminar will learn how to mitigate its effects.

This Winnipeg workshop will introduce the subject of radon gas and how it can make indoor air unhealthy to breathe. The attendees will learn about the substance, and the function may be of special interest to health officials, builders and contractors, as well as commercial residential building owners and managers.

The hour-and-a-half-long session will introduce the health impacts of radon and what provincial and federal regulations apply. The attendees will learn about various testing methods, as well as how to mitigate its impact should it be detected. There will also be a discussion of what can be done during new construction projects to prevent issues in the future. The function has been organized by Pinchin Ltd, and tickets are free.

Attending a workshop like this is one of the ways a professional can keep their knowledge and skills current. A brochure printing company can prepare items to present to each participant so they can learn even more.

This introduction to radon, its effects and also how to prevent any problems it may cause will be on offer on March 30th. The venue will be 54 Terracon Place, and it will begin at 8:30 am.
