Winnipeg is well-known for being a friendly city, but its spooky side will be on full display to those who participate in a walking tour later this month.
The free Ghastly Ghost Tour will give those aged 16 and up a sneak peek into the ghostly side of the city, and it will be heading out from Don’s Photo at 379 Broadway. It will be led by Susan Ainsley, and will explore Winnipeg’s downtown.
The walk is open to both photographers and the general public. The route is approximately four kilometres long, and there will be planned stops along the way. Everyone should wear comfortable footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Its start time is 6:30 pm, and the outing will wrap up at 8:30 pm at The Museum Centre.
A walking tour like this can be very enjoyable for those who like learning about history. It may even spark an interest in the participants to find out even more afterwards, and supplying them with printed maps and other materials that give sources for information may be prepared by a local brochure printing company.
Don’s Photo will be hosting the Ghastly Ghost Tour: Darker Side of Winnipeg on October 28th. Anyone who would like to reserve tickets for the excursion is invited to do so now, and they can do so via Eventbrite.
