A local food festival had to be cancelled this year, but that will not stop the fun in Winnipeg, as an alternative has been planned for the community.
Winnipeg’s Four Crowns will be offering the use of its parking lot for a special occasion that will take the place of Manyfest this year. It will put food trucks and other mobile eateries front and centre, and everyone is welcome to stop by and show them lots of love.
The festivities will run for three days, and since it will be set up in a small area, it will make it easy for members of the public to sample as many of the creations on offer as they wish. The organizers have explained that it has been a tough time for the food service sector, and events like this can give it a much needed boost.
To make the function a success, the organizers are accepting applications from anyone who would like to get involved as a small business operator, sponsor or volunteer. More information about this can be found by emailing Four Crowns to inquire about vendor space booking, making a financial contribution, or offering a gift in kind, such as some Promotional Products, to offer as swag.
Four Crowns Street Food Fest will provide the opportunity for Winnipeg residents to experience all the local mobile food service community has to offer from September 8th to September 10th. It will take place at 1030 McPhillips Street.
