Winnipeg's Exhibition Park hosts events all year round, and this summer it will be welcoming a new concept when it comes to supporting small businesses.
World Market is a new initiative that will be running throughout July, August and part of September at The Loop. It will bring together an eclectic mix of storefronts, and the organizers have put out a call to let local establishments know its vendor application system is now open.
Small businesses in Winnipeg that would like to introduce themselves to the city are welcome to submit an application to do so. The planners are interested in hearing from those who sell items such as spices, toys, Books, fresh produce and many other goods. Each of the spaces will be 10 feet by 10 feet and located indoors, and the price per day is $25. Larger spaces may be available upon request.
The activity is being produced by the Red River Exhibition Park event Committee. Stationery printers can provide organizers with customized documents such as application and order Forms, Letterheads, vendor and employment contracts and price lists.
This new opportunity for Winnipeg businesses to showcase themselves to locals and visitors alike will run from July 13th to September 28th.
