An excursion for birders that will pay a visit to Bunn’s Creek is on the agenda for Winnipeg this June, and it has been organized by CPAWS Manitoba and the Delta Marsh Bird Observatory.
The registrants for the Beginner Birder Walk at Bunn’s Creek will view the songbirds and other species that have made their return for the summer. Many of them will be in their breeding plumage, making them colourful and easier to spot than at other times of the year.
The group will follow a winding trail that is shaded and quiet, and along with the song birds, the participants can expect to see ducks and other waterfowl. Both fish and turtles may also be spotted, and there are enough spaces on the event for 20 people. Binoculars and a bottle of water are highly recommended, as are snacks.
An event such as this one that combines walking with observing the natural world can be very enjoyable. A flyer printing company will be able to lend a hand when it comes to economically promoting a function like this to the public over a wide area.
The Beginner Birder Walk at Bunn’s Creek is scheduled for June 4th. Everyone who Signs up has been asked to be on site by 11:30 am before the group heads out.
