The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba works to support those living with this degenerative disease throughout the year, but it wouldn’t be able to do so without the assistance of its dedicated volunteers. During a special evening, these helpers will be taking their turn in the spotlight, and the public is welcome to join in this recognition of their efforts.
The organization will be hosting its Annual General Meeting, and once the business portion of the function has concluded, there will be a recognition of the group’s volunteers. This Winnipeg function will open with a reception and meet and greet, and everyone who would like to take part is encouraged to attend.
During the meeting, attendees will have a chance to explore the organization’s financial reports and bylaws alongside members, and learn more about the group and its plans for the future. A printing services company can provide a hard copy of bylaws and other information well ahead of an event like this so that its membership and the general public will have plenty of time to review them before they are voted upon.
The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba will be hosting this event in support of good brain health on June 24th. It will be held at 10-120 Donald Street, and the doors will open to guests at 5:30pm.
