Winnipeg luncheon to boost tourism business

Winnipeg has become a popular tourist attraction, and its Chamber of Commerce has an event on the horizon that will help local businesses to take full advantage of the opportunity this presents.

The organization will be holding a Membership Luncheon in late January, and it will explore why Winnipeg has become a trendy spot for tourists. Four panellists with experience in the sector will address the group, and the session will be held at the RBC Convention Centre.

The luncheon will open with some light networking and the attendees will have time to visit the exhibitor booths. The program will kick off at noon, and a meal will be served. The panel will include speakers from Travel Manitoba, the Tribal Councils Investment Group, the City’s manager of Film and Special events and also the Vice President of Tourism and Economic Development Winnipeg. They will discuss the city’s current tourism offerings while also keeping an eye to the future, and more details about the activity will be released as its date draws closer.

The tourism sector is an important economic driver in many Canadian cities. A luncheon gives a city’s business community a chance to learn how they can use this to their benefit, and Stationery printers can prepare materials to hand out during an activity.

The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce will be holding this luncheon on January 23rd. Both members and non-members are welcome.
