Craig Street Cats (CSC) gives Winnipeg's stray felines a chance to come in from the cold, and to help make sure it has the resources it needs to perform this work, it is counting on the generosity of the local community for a fundraising drive.
In 2021, CSC hosted its first ever Christmas for the Critters as an online activity, and it was such a success, the organizers decided to bring it back for another year. It will be one of its signature activities, and assistance from the public is most appreciated.
Each person who registers will be asked to collect pledges from their friends, family and colleagues. Donations will also be very welcome, and the monies raised will be used to purchase food, veterinary care, shelters and other necessities for homeless cats and kittens, and to manage feral cat colonies throughout the city. The charity also supports spay and neuter programs.
Locally based organizations often provide “boots on the ground” assistance to those in need, be they people or animals. A poster printing company will have an assortment of ways to spread the word about such fundraisers and activities.
The fundraising drive began on November 1st, and it will be running until December 25th. More details about the fundraising drive are available online.
