Winnipeg is about to become the location for an event that will be of interest to gardeners from all across Manitoba.
The Living Green 2024 expo will connect plant lovers with a variety of organizations and businesses in the horticultural and environmental fields. It will give gardeners the chance to hit the ground running when it comes to getting their plants ready for another growing season, and all ages are welcome.
The whole family are invited to attend the expo, and there will be lots to see and do. Attendees can sit in on a horticultural workshop or presentation, browse through the vendor tables and pick up some new plants. The sellers may even be taking pre-orders for shrubs, perennials and other items, and parking at Red River Exhibition Place, which will be the venue for the occasion, will be free of charge.
Garden centres and nurseries often do a lot of their annual business during the spring planting season, and expos like this can help to generate more business. Print shops can supply promotional printed materials to advertise events like this one.
This three-day celebration planned with gardeners in mind will be kicking off on May 3rd, and tickets start at $10.00. Each day, the schedule of speakers will begin at 10:30 am, and the doors will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
