A Winnipeg event that may be a “purr-fect” fit for anyone looking for a handmade gift for mom is right around the corner, and while they shop, the attendees will be lending a helping hand to local cats in need.
The Cat and Craft Show will combine felines with retail therapy. The West End Cultural Centre has been booked to host the pop-up market, and there will be lots of unique gift ideas in the mix for the shoppers to discover.
Along with their makers, the activity will provide two free tables to local cat rescues so that any money they raise will be theirs to keep. A wide variety of artisans selling kitty-related art and other merchandise will be on site, and a feline behaviourist and certified cat groomer have been requested to attend the celebration.
Admissions to this fundraising day are free, and parking is also available at no charge. Small establishments that take part in pop-up markets like this one can order Business Cards and other supplies from a local printer.
The Cat and Craft Show will be showing lots of love to stray, abandoned and feral cats on April 23rd. The doors will open to the public at 1:00 pm, and tier support will be most appreciated. The West End Cultural Centre can be found at 586 Ellice Avenue.
