Winnipeg cats to benefit from pop-up market

Winnipeg's feral cats will be the recipients of some care and attention thanks to the proceeds from a holiday shopping party that will be hosted by Craig Street Cats.

This grassroots-level organization provides feral cats across the city with shelter, food and other support, and its Holiday Craft & Shopping Event will be one of its major funding streams for the year. It will also do a good turn for local crafters and makers who have been looking for a venue where they can set up shop.

The guests at the function will have an opportunity to browse through a wide variety of possible gift ideas, and anyone who would like to get some assistance with their holiday baking can stock up on cookies, squares and other baked goods. This pop-up market has been held in previous years, and it has earned a reputation for being a fun event.

When planning an activity like this, not-for-profit groups often have to stick to a strict budget so that as much of the proceeds as possible will be left over for the cause. Banner printing companies will be happy to help, and will have a large assortment of options available.

The Holiday Craft & Shopping Event will be benefiting Winnipeg's street cats on Sunday, December 4th at Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites.
