The Fort Garry Women’s Resource Centre (FGWRC) provides a range of services to women in Winnipeg, and it’s reaching out the local community seeking support for one of its major fundraising events.
An evening of live entertainment will be welcoming Winnipeg residents, and it will feature the talents of The Duhks as well as comedian Meghan Riley. It will be a high-energy occasion, and the planners are hoping that it will be a fun experience for everyone who attends the celebration.
As well as the live entertainment, the evening will include a silent auction with lots of items on the block. A cash bar and light refreshments will round out the function, which is likely to be a good opportunity for a friends’ night out.
The planners of the evening remarked that it will be the signature fundraising activity for the FGWRC for this year, which means it is extremely important to the organization. Meeting with a printing services company early on in the process of arranging a fundraiser like this can help to ensure it will be a big success.
The 11th annual show held in support of the Fort Garry Women's Resource Centre will be putting a smile on the faces of ticketholders on September 2. The Park Theatre on Osborne Street will be the location for the celebration.
