Winnipeg Khartum Shriners wants to wish everyone a happy Halloween, and the organization will be holding a seasonal event that has been planned with kids in mind.
The group will be welcoming little ones for a Trunk or Treat event that will be held at Khartum Shrine Centre parking lot, which is located at 1155 Wilkes Avenue. It will be on offer for two hours, and it is open to all local kids.
The families that participate are encouraged to add to the fun by decorating their vehicle for the occasion, and anyone who would like to reserve a space at the site lot to decorate can do so for $5. The cars and trucks will be parked six feet apart, and the public will be able to drive through the lot and pick up a bag of candy and other treats at the end. The monies that are raised will be added to the Khartum Shrines Patient Transportation Fund.
An event like this gives children a way to celebrate Halloween safely, and Print shops will have a variety of ways to spread the ford to area families. These may be very cost effective, and there’s a wide selection of options available.
