Spring will see many Winnipeg gardeners gearing up for another season, and they may want to include a stop at a special festival in their plans.
The Living Green festival, which will be the province’s only show that is specially dedicated to the love of gardening, is on the way for next May.
The festival, which will run for three days, will provide its vendors with plenty of space so they can set up expansive booths and displays for the attendees to browse through. There will be live plants for sale, and those who would like to score some rare or unusual additions to their collections may be able to do so. A seed swapping station will be set up, and presentations will be taking place throughout the event.
To add even more value to the festival, which takes place annually, the organizers are interested in hearing from any horticultural vendors that would be interested in taking part.
