Winnipeg project to give downtown a spring clean

This April, Earth Day projects will be taking place all over the world, and one planned for Winnipeg is seeking some helping hands.

Downtown Winnipeg is about to benefit from a good spring clean, and teams and individuals alike are welcome to get involved. They will be picking up trash and other litter, and all supplies they will need for the task will be supplied.

Each person or group will be issued Bags, garbage pickers, masks and gloves before they give their assigned area a tidy, and the meeting place will be released to them at that time. Anyone who would like to tackle the project on their own or with a friend is encouraged to stop by the offices of The Downtown Winnipeg Biz to pick up their Earth Day Clean Up Downtown kit, and these will be filled with supplies and a brochure containing helpful tips.
