In 2019, a growing company made a large investment in Winnipeg, and the city’s Chamber of Commerce is using this as inspiration for its upcoming learning event.
GoodLife Fitness invested $30 million dollars in the local area two years ago, which was the largest investment it had made in Canada. During an online workshop, chamber members will be encouraged to find new ways of investing in their own personal wellbeing and that of their businesses.
The session will open with a chance to meet the exhibitors, and after this, the program will begin. There will be an address by the keynote speaker, and once they have wrapped up, the assembled group will be encouraged to remain online and engage in some networking and sharing best practices.
The host of this activity explained that it will offer a way for chamber members to meet even when they cannot do so in person, and registration for the session is now open. The networking roundtables will be limited to just 10 attendees, and the organizers have noted that this will help to foster connections in the real world. Business Cards often prove to be useful tools for when the membership of a group like this are able to meet in person.
The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce has made arrangements to host this function on April 22nd. Anyone who would like to learn more is invited to do so by visiting its website.
