Winnipeg invited to roll on in for fundraising event

A throwback-style fundraiser will give people a chance to relive their younger days, all while doing a good turn for Winnipeg kids living with cancer.

The monies that are raised through the 90s Skate Night Fundraiser will be used to help allow even more youth to attend the upcoming Survivor Conference, which has been scheduled to take place in Winnipeg. The participants are welcome to come dressed in their best 1990s garb should they wish to do so, and everyone is encouraged to have a great time.

Admission to the activity is $10, and this includes the skate rental as well as a glowstick. A silent auction and even split draw will offer more ways to help, and the concession stand will be open. Those who would like to get involved but cannot make it in person can still make a difference by choosing to donate, and anyone who still has questions can contact 90s.skate.night.yacc.2020@gmail.com.

Corporate Gifts, such as T-Shirts and hoodies printed with the host’s Logo Design and other graphics, can be prepared to give out as door and draw prizes for this type of community gathering.

Wheelies Family Roller Centre, which can be found at 210 Enniskillen Avenue, will be the venue for this evening of retro fun. It will take place on May 7.
