Winnipeg fundraiser to help fund equine therapy

A Winnipeg not-for-profit organization has issued an invitation to one and all to help make its signature fundraiser a huge success.

Assiniboia Downs will be the venue for the annual Super Flea Market, which is an initiative of the Manitoba Riding for the Disabled Association. It is expected to be a huge event, and the proceeds from the two days will be used to help fund programming that sees disabled kids enjoy interactions with specially trained horses.

Admission to the function is $5, and those who come out will be able to browse and buy to their heart's content. Many local small businesses have already reserved their space, and crafts and collectibles will be on offer. A silent auction and even split draw will help to maximize the monies raised for the cause, and the doors will open to the public at 9:00 am on both days.

Part of ensuring a function like this will meet its fundraising goals is making sure that it is adequately marketed throughout the community. A poster printing company will be happy to help with such a task.

The Prairie Strides Annual Super Flea Market will be open to the public at Assiniboia Downs on Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th. Everyone is encouraged to come out and help make it a success.
