Expat Maritimes and those who love lobster will want to make sure they are among the crowd for an upcoming feast that will offer Winnipeg a flavour of the country’s East Coast.
The Canadian Brewhouse will once again be celebrating Lobster Fest, and the evening will offer the taste, music and feel of a home kitchen party.
Everyone who reserves a seat for the festivities will be treated to a dinner featuring a market-sized lobster, and it will be accompanied by traditional side dishes, including Caesar salad, garlic toast and pasta. The drink of choice for the occasion will be a bottle of Alexander Keith’s India Pale Ale, which is often served alongside this sort of meal in the Maritimes.
The host of this annual celebration has announced that each of the ticketholders will be going home with a Moscow Mule mug, which they can keep and use as a souvenir of the evening. It will boast a special graphic design, and this type of souvenir is often sourced from local Print shops.
The Canadian Brewhouse will be hosting this shellfish-filled celebration of eastern Canadian cuisine on October 17th. The party will begin at 6:00pm, and the venue is located at 1715 Kenaston Boulevard in Winnipeg. Tickets are on sale now, and have been priced at $39.99 each.
