Some ghosts, goblins, zombies and other spooky creatures have been spotted making their way to Winnipeg, but there is no reason to worry, as it is all in good fun.
These costumed characters will be taking pride of place in the Witchy Wonderland – A (not-so) Fright Fest that will welcome Halloween in style. Red River Exhibition Park will be the location for the ghoulish gathering, and it will be open to the public for seven days.
The organizers of the family-friendly function encourage everyone to come in costume if they wish, and there will be lots of frightful fun to enjoy. There will be costumed characters on hand to meet and pose with for photo ops, and a fireworks display and with servings of hot chocolate will take place on select evenings. There will be carnival-style rides as well as performances, inflatables, face painters, games and local food trucks, and live entertainment will round out the festivities. The activity will help support scholarships for area post-secondary students.
Seasonal events often take place each year, making reusable decor a budget-friendly choice. This can be prepared by a banner printing company.
Witchy Wonderland – A (not-so) Fright Fest will be coming to Winnipeg on select dates from October 17th until October 26th. More information is available on the Red River Exhibition Park website.
