North Vancouver is home to some talented creatives, and a variety of their works will be on offer during an activity that will treat mom to a special day of shopping.
The North Vancouver Mother’s Day Market will boast both an afternoon and evening session. There will be lots of gift ideas on hand, and while they browse and buy, the attendees will be supporting local small businesses.
The first 50 moms to arrive will receive special gifts, and there will be raffle draws taking place as well. The shoppers will be able to meet the vendors in person, and everything from paintings to jewellery will be in the mix. Admission to the venue will be by donation, and the proceeds will be used to support development projects in Cuba. Anyone who would like to make a further contribution is asked to bring along a donation of gently used clothing.
Pop-up markets like this one give the small businesses in a community a chance to shine. Business Cards and other custom materials can be crafted for those taking part in events like this by a Print professional.
This Mother’s Day shopping party will be celebrating moms on May 4th. It will be held in the Pipe Shop Building at the Shipyards in North Vancouver. All ages are encouraged to drop by.
