Children in Langley who would like to learn more about birds may find that an upcoming activity scheduled to take place at a local museum will be just the experience they have been hoping for.
The Beaty Biodiversity Museum has created its Feather Facts program with young nature lovers in mind, and the whole family is welcome to attend. It will be on offer for two days, and when it is over, those who took part will have a better understanding of birds and how they interact with the environment.
Many in-person activities have been cancelled due to COVID, and so the museum has made arrangements to host this function online. The organizers have pointed out that they invite the public to submit their own biodiversity stories and images that involve birds ahead of the workshop, and some of these will be used during the session.
Along with the virtual workshop, the museum has created an assortment of learning opportunities for those at home.
