Often more heard than seen, owls are nighttime fliers. One of these feathered friends will soon be the star attraction of a Langley activity that will introduce these birds of prey.
Dubbed the “Owl Hoot-Enanny”, the party-style gathering will introduce owls and why they are so important. There will be lots to see and do, and it will be a celebration for all ages to enjoy.
The guests at the soiree will be able to visit an assortment of activity stations that will uncover the ecology of owls, as well as other grassland animals. These include a grass maze and a giant saw pile for jumping into. Live entertainment is also on the agenda. A food truck will be on hand, so everyone can purchase a drink or a bite to eat. Attendees will also be able to view a live owl up close.

Langley families that would like to find out more about owls can attend the Owl Hoot-Enanny on Saturday, September 19th. Campbell Valley Regional Park will serve as its location, and the festivities will kick off at 11:00 am. It will draw to a close at 2:00 pm. The Hoot-Enanny is free to attend.
