Craft beer festivals have become popular in recent years, and one that is on the way for Langley will celebrate a brew that is much more family friendly.
The city’s annual Root Beer Festival will be back for its fifth year, and it will bring fun to the community. It will put this popular soft drink front and centre, and it will be held at a new location.
Creekside Hall and Parking Lot will be the new venue for the festivities. Everyone can do some taste testing and purchase root beer to take home, and food will be available as well. Live entertainment from Six Gun Romeo and Mermaid Kaida has been scheduled, and root beer candy will be on offer, along with cotton candy and other treats.
At least 30 varieties of root beer will be on tap, and there are three different ticket types to choose from.
