The 22nd annual Business Excellence Awards gala is taking place next month in Langley, and will be a presentation of the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of the biggest networking events of the Langley business community’s year. It is likely that many of those planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order with their local Print shop to ensure they have enough cards to exchange with their peers.
This is a semiformal event and guests are expected to dress accordingly. The evening will start off with a cocktail reception where guests will probably have the opportunity to mingle with the finalists of the awards. It will then be followed by a four-course sit-down dinner, entertainment and the awards presentations.
There are 11 awards to be handed out during the evening. Nominees are either Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce members or companies that are located in the Langley area. Among those awards will be Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Impact Award (profit and non-profit), Environmental Leadership, Business Person of the Year and Service Excellence (food/beverage). In addition, the George Preston Memorial Business Person of the Year Award will be presented.
The Business Excellence Awards will be held at Cascades Casino Coast Hotel and Convention Centre on October 25 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $100 per person. Call 604-371-3770 for more information.
