This February, Backyard Vineyards in Langley is inviting guests to sample a selection of its best-selling vintages paired with delectable seasonal bites.
‘Seasonal Pairings’ will be a special evening of food and wine, and it will be hosted by Leah O’Shaughnessy, a recent addition to the Backyard Cellar team.
During the event, O’Shaughnessy will bring her expert knowledge and energetic personality to the table as she teaches visitors the basic techniques of wine tasting and food pairing. Each flight of red and white will be perfectly matched with a delicious seasonal sample from the kitchen, made to bring out the subtle nuances and rich flavours of the vintages.
Established in 2009, Backyard Vineyards uses 100% BC grapes from its own site to produce its award-winning wines. Master Vintner Liam Berti and his team welcome visitors to tour the winery, drop in to the Tasting Room, and shop from the wide selection both on-site or online.
