The 102nd Aldergrove Fair Days festival is taking place for three days this July. It is presented by the Aldergrove Agricultural Association.
The festival is a traditional type of fair with a few extras. This year's theme is ‘Tractorfest’. There will be many events related to the theme, including an antique tractor pull. There are expected to be lots of different agricultural displays from people of all ages, including preschoolers, a car show, a parade, and a book sale. Kidzone will give the kids lots of things to do.
Some of the special events are set to include the World Fast Draw Championship and the Radical Raptors Flying Show. In addition, a variety of vendors will be on hand to sell arts and crafts and general merchandise. Visitors can also buy a raffle ticket for $5 and be entered to win prizes, such as plane tickets for two anywhere in Canada.
This annual festival attracts visitors from all over the area, including Langley. No doubt organizers have invested in services such as flyer printing to ensure that as many people know about it as possible.
Aldergrove Fair Days is being held at the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre and the Aldergrove Athletic Park from July 18th to 20th. Admission is by donation. Contact Karen at 604-418-9507 for more information.
