Residents in the city of Langley will get to enjoy fresh fruit and produce in the open-air market this summer. The Langley Market will run every Wednesday until October in the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Campus during the afternoon and will offer special advertising opportunities to local printers.
The Langley outdoor market is free of charge to attend and welcomes over 30 food venders and food tasters. Venders either “make it, grow it, or bake it” according to the market’s motto and it is a well-known community event in the city, frequented by artisans, farmers, growers, non-profit organizations, producers, community groups, and foodies alike.
The Langley Community Farmers’ Market also provides some unique advertising opportunities for local printers. In addition to the heavy use of banner printing promoting the event throughout the Kwantlen University campus, the surrounding area, and within the market itself, printers are also involved in producing display signage for each vender. Banners and Posters can either be handmade, created by local printers, or a combination of both.
The Community Farmers’ Market is, first and foremost, a very special opportunity for venders to gain exposure in the Langley community. Printers in the area who are attending the market can offer services like business card printing to the many venders who make an appearance.
The market opened on May 23 and will run until October. It is sponsored by Kwantlen Polytehcnic University and the Langley Times, the city’s local printed newspaper. The event is free and parking is reversible at the Market Info Tent.
