Theatres and cinemas are already surrounded by colourful and professional, high quality poster printing advertisements for upcoming and current attractions and the BC government is giving movie theatres and live performance auditoriums another thing to promote- an enhanced movie experience with liquor licences in the province of BC.
The Fort Langley and Aldergrove MLA Rich Coleman announced that movie theatres in BC will now be able to service alcohol during films and apply for liquor licences. The establishments will allow adults over the age of majority to enjoy drinks responsibility while being entertained by movies and performances. The province will also retain its input on all new liquor primary licence applications.
Multiplex theatres will be able to serve alcohol in adult only auditoriums and single screen theatres must apply to serve alcohol in a lobby where minors are present. Public safety will continue to remain a priority, and no alcohol will be permitted while a movie is aired when minors are present, since it is difficult to determine if minors are consuming alcohol in darkened rooms.
Printers are widely involved in movie theatre advertising. Poster printing is already an important form of advertising in movie theatres to promote films and concessions and even more printings can be expected at participating movie theatres that apply for liquor licenses. A liquor licence will be a huge selling point for competing cinemas and will be promoted through advertising and large billboard Print.Get a Free Quote for Print
