It’s lavender time in Langley and a local farm will be rolling out the purple carpet for those who enjoy this well-loved flowing herb.
Whether they use lavender for flavouring, in tea or for its scent, this popular plant will only be in bloom for a short time. Full Bloom Lavender Farm has many cultivars that are flowering, and for one month, the public will be able to stop by and view them in person.
The venue boasts 15 different varieties of lavender, and there are over 2,500 plants, many of which flower at different times. The family owned operation is not far from Vancouver, and it can be a fun idea for a family day trip. Pets are not permitted on site, and it's also been requested that drones be left at home. The activity is not intended for professional photographers, and the visits will take place rain or shine.
Summer can be an ideal time for outdoor activities and Langley has lots on offer. Signage can be helpful in keeping an event organized, and it can be prepared by area banner printing shops.
The team at Full Bloom Lavender Farm will be welcoming visits from the public from June 22nd until July 21st. Tickets may be reserved online or purchased at the gate. It is situated at 248th Street in Langley .
