Langley workshop planned for parents-to-be

With the prospect of becoming a new mom or dad on the horizon, pregnancy can be a stressful time. A Langley class can help, and it will offer a relaxed introduction to childbirth and the postnatal period.

The class is intended for couples who are looking for a workshop that will teach them the basics of what they need to know to be confident in their abilities. The organizers explained that the three-and-a-half-hour session will move along at a moderate pace, and there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

The learners will discover how they can enjoy their pregnancy while still being alert to any warning Signs. The process of labour and delivery will be discussed, as will the assorted options available for pain control. Possible complications will be reviewed, and the group will also be taught what to expect when they bring home their new little bundle of joy.

While being part of this type of workshop can give parents to be confidence in themselves, when the “big day” comes, it can be easy for a future mom or dad to forget what they have learned. Supplying each participant in the class with a simple wallet card from a printing services company of tips can help them to keep calm and relaxed, both at home and at the hospital.

This prenatal class will be welcoming parents-to-be on July 25. The venue for the workshop can be found at 7640 200 Street in Langley.
