Langley welcomes community day

After a long winter, the start of the summer season is something to celebrate, and a June festival in Langley aims to do just that.

Designed to entice the Langley community to enjoy the warmer weather, Douglas Park offers an array of outdoor activities, including a seasonal spray park, an inclusive playground, a community garden, and a variety of sporting facilities. It will also be hosting the upcoming Community Day.

With an expected 10,000 visitors, the Langley Community Day is an outdoor festival designed to celebrate the start of the summer season. Attendees will be able to enjoy a wide range of live performances from local artists while exploring the marketplace, which will feature a variety of local artisans and businesses. In addition, there will be community booths and activity stations, which will include several inflatable mazes, bounce houses, games and slides. The event will also have a sensory-friendly space for those who need a break during the festival. There will also be several local food trucks for those who want to grab something to eat.

Community events provide the chance to learn more about the services offered by a city and the local artists and businesses that call it home. These businesses often use brochure printing to share information about their unique products or services.

The Community Day will take place on June 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Douglas Park, 5403-5409 206 St, Langley. Additional information about the festival can be found on the City of Langley’s website.
