The BC Landscape and Nursery Association connects companies and individuals working in the horticultural sector, and it has organized the first Grow West Coast Conference.
The Langley activity will bring together delegates from across the province with an interest in the horticulture industry, and they will be able to learn, share best practices and make connections they can call on in the future. The registration fee starts at $113.22, and students may attend free of charge.
The plans for the occasion include workshops and presentations, and a networking picnic is in the works as well. Some may offer CEU credits, and the delegates may choose the sessions they wish to attend in advance.
To encourage industry involvement, the planners of the symposium have put together a set of sponsorship packages. These include a pop-up banner or poster display, and this level is $214.33. There are other options as well, and they go up to the exclusive Event Sponsor level. They will be available until September 13th, and all provide opportunities for a company Logo Design or other branding to be in the eye of the attendees.
The first Grow West Coast Conference will bring members of the province’s horticulture sector together to learn and support one another on September 27th. It will be held at the Langley Campus of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and check in begins at 8:00 am.
