Langley is noted for being a community that cares about the environment, and a special day dedicated to the future of the forest will soon be on offer in Williams Park.
The venue will be the location for Forest Fest 2024, which will be a celebration of BC National Forest Week. Admission will be free, and there will be activities for almost every age and interest.
During the event, the attendees will be able to take in a presentation by Raptors Ridge, and Ben Hamra will demonstrate his artistic skills with chainsaw carving sessions. Everyone can try their hand at axe throwing and other games, and a scavenger hunt, presentations, exhibitor booths and selection of local food trucks will round out the experience.
To thank the crowd for coming out and to help add to the area's forest canopy, seedlings will be distributed during the gathering for as long as supplies last. The day will get started at noon and the fun will keep on going until the late afternoon.
A festival or similar activity can make learning about environmental stewardship fun and exciting. A flyer printing company can prepare marketing items for many types of events.
Forest Fest 2024 will be on offer on September 28th, and everyone is on the guest list. It will wrap up for another year at 4:00 pm.
