Langley will be hosting another edition of Seedy Saturday next month, giving green thumbs the opportunity to swap seeds.
Derek Doubleday Arboretum’s new Interpretive Centre will be hosting a free event that will bring the local gardening community together to celebrate, share stories and swap seeds. It can be a fun and inexpensive way for a gardener to add to their collection, and this is just one element of the day’s activities.
As well as the seed swap, the function’s organizers have built a schedule that includes presentations, workshops and seed vendors. Attendees will be able to take home gift baskets filled with Promotional Products and other items. Fully grown plants will also be available for purchase, and with food trucks parked at the venue, attendees can buy their lunch on site so they can keep on enjoying the event for as long as possible.
Taking part in this type of function can give a gardener a chance to learn and share tips and tricks with other green thumbs while they get some seeds to start for the upcoming season.
