This May, classic vehicles from all over the province will be rolling into Langley for a special charity show and shine.
The 33rd annual D.W. Poppy Secondary School, a high school serving Langley Township, has made plans for the return of its car show which will be marking its 33rd year. It will be one of the first activities of its kind for the coming season, and the monies raised will benefit its students in a variety of ways.
The whole family is invited to join the fun of the day, and as many as 700 lovingly restored classic cars and other vehicles will be parked on site. The activity will be taking place in the school’s back field, and along with the cars, trucks and other entries that will be on display, there will be an assortment of activities. The fee to register an entry starts at $15.
To help maximize the funds raised through the day, there will be a sale of T-Shirts printed with a special graphic design. A variety of vendors will be on hand, and even split and other draws will take place.
Langley’s D.W. Poppy School will be hosting this annual fundraiser on May 1st. The venue can be found at 23752 52 Avenue in Langley. The website prepared for the occasion offers more details as well as a chance to sign up. Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
