Langley is the place to be for those on the hunt for summer fun, and one of its activities has been planned with foodies in mind.
The Fort Langley Summer Food Festival will be celebrating the region’s culinary side, and it will be a weekend filled with food, beverages and plenty more. It will put a spotlight on the local culinary community, and everything from snacks and desserts to full meals will be on offer.
The weekend of activities will feature a vetted roster of food service operations as well as wineries, and there will be sips and pours to sample. A pop up art show and market is on the agenda, and admission to the celebration will be by donation. The charity of choice will be the One Heart Foundation, and a sponsorship program has been put in place.
Local vendors that feel this function is a good fit for them are welcome to submit an application to take part. They will need to provide their own 6 ft table and chairs, and while the majority of the participating business will be food related, 15 percent of the spaces have been reserved for other companies. Banners and booth decor for a company can be prepared by a local banner printing expert.
The Fort Langley Food Festival is on the way for August 3rd and 4th at Fort Langley. Both days will be open from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
