The Fort Langley Historic 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Kids Run will soon return to the city to help raise important charitable funds.
The runs are in aid of Langley Hospice, which offers support and a safe harbour for those at the end of their life, as well as their families. The 2020 edition of the event will be the 15th year.
Runners and walkers are welcome to choose which run they wish to participate in, and they all help the hospice. Whether they take part in the Kids Run or challenge themselves with the half marathon, all participants will be invited to celebrate afterwards with warm drinks, food, entertainment and a roaring bonfire.
Those who choose the marathon option will follow a route that will wind through farmlands and offer views of the surrounding mountains. It will then proceed along Telegraph Trail before winding up at Fort Langley National Historic Site.
As this year will be the run’s 15th anniversary, the planners noted they want to make it extra special. A Print shop can help with this type of project by supplying a range of supplies such as Banners, race bibs, water bottles and other Promotional Products branded with the event’s Logo Design.
Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are invited to lend the Langley Hospice Society a helping hand by being a part of this fundraiser, which will be held on February 16th.
