A fundraiser that will help to fund research into a cure for breast cancer will be welcoming a special guest, and its set to be on offer at Langley’s Krause Berry Farms.
Kris Kringle himself will be enjoying a stack of freshly made blueberry pancakes, and kids of all ages, from ages 1 to 100, are invited to dig in too. Admission is by donation, and the monies raised will be passed along to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Admission to the function is first come, first served, and at 10:00 am, Santa will make his grand entrance. He will spend time with the event’s younger guests, and they can tell him their holiday wishes and pick up a candy cane to take home with them.
Breast cancer can affect both men and women, but if detected early, those living with one of this group of diseases can often have an excellent prognosis.
